Holidays are over...new year...new tracks! This picture seemed like it held a lot of potential expermentalitly with it. We got some awesome sounding tracks that are not your every day composition contests.
Please view the photo with each track and base your vote off which one you feel works best with the photo. We will end this vote off next Thursday. Winner will get to pick the next photo.  Good luck!
P.S. I was just hired to work on a video game soundtrack! This will be my first composition job. I've been working towards this point for the last couple years...and now I'm finally given my chance. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HEI%24T It really happened by chance (like all good things) and the style of music is not my norm...but it seemed to have struck them well (my demo track). Don't worry, I'll still be doing this contest, I just wanted to share the exciting news with you guys.

Wow! Kudos to all the musicians. Very good stuff. It's so hard to pick one.
I think I'm leaning towards either number 1 or 4. Hard decision. Number 4 was kind of the same thing over and over, but damn it was cool. I'm gonna have to give them all another listen before I can even decide. haha

Yeah...4 was badass indeed.
But 2 has a certain charm thats so haunting. That flute/glass thingy at the beginning.... it gave me chills. Everything works really well in it...the poping sounds...large amount of noise...
Good Job! Hope to hear more tracks from you...very unique stuff.

yeah I have to admit, besides production quality which shouldn't mean jack really, it was incredible. The name suited it perfect. The beginning fit the picture perfect for me, but then it got into those, well best described as "india sounds"  and it didn't really seem like the right theme for the picture. Totally personal on that point.
If this was a contest to pick which I just liked the most overall, definetely number 2.

Had to go with 'A Sorrow to Horror'. Cheesy but I liked it. The track's as low fi as the picture and why not a rock tune? Fits the pale mood of the pic. The beginning sample sealed the deal. Almost went with This House is not in India(haha) but it was mainly the first half of that one that felt like the picture. Cool stuff though.

Wow, Angels and Demons was quite epic. I really enjoyed it.
Whisper House was really well done, but a little too much repetition for me, personally.
Great job everyone, but I'm definitely going to have to go with #1!

I went with Angels and Demons. Very cool. I'm interested in how the artist did the whole female choir thing, aweosme stuff. But all were defeintly really well done.

My dad's keyboard has a female choir voice sound option that you can play at different notes. It's pretty fun to mess around with.

Wow, I really like A Sorrow to Horror. I can totally see myself and a couple of friends all dosed up dancing up to a house looking like that to this song. Awesometastic.
