hey guys, im kinda happy to say both my tubs started pinning. However they both have really fat stems and tiny caps. Theyre small and pale and seem deformed. Im just trying to figure out what kind of tell tale deficiency this is, i remember reading about this my first grow but forgot what it is. Anyone? thx.

Low light levels. If your lighting is bright and for 12 hours per day, then you got some bad genetics. RR

k thx, its some extra burma strain sporeworks sent me. i ordered 2 b+ then they sent me an extra burma. The light levels could easily be low i mean here at 3600 feet with the cascades rockin the sun down plus winter, there isnt much sunlight. RR does a blacklight fuck with shrooms cuz i was thinkin of using it for those extra few hours u know?

Blacklight as in UV light? It will cause mutations.

Use a cfl daylight bulb (compact fluerescent 6500k range) until u get one of those use an incandescent bulb i know its not ideal but it will be better than low levels of light.
Its what im using at the moment until i get a new lamp for my CFL

Didn't some of the original albinos come from growing under a black light? Lol or is that just another myth I picked up along the way.

It's just another myth. PF perpetrated that one. He was using a blacklight around when the albino appeared. What he and others don't realize is that blacklights produce no radiation in the UVC range, which is the range responsible for DNA damage and sterilization.
Blacklights emit only longwave UV aka UVA. UVA doesn't cause mutations to any appreciable extent. Only shortwave (UVC) will cause mutations and sterilization.

UV is not aka UVA. UV light compromises all the light frequencies with a wavelength shorter than visible light and longer than X-rays. That includes NUV, UVA, UVB, UVC, FUV and EUV.
Blacklight does only emmit UVA, and while it is the less damaging of the three main UV spectrums (UVA/B/C) it still causes DNA damage.
This is a quote from wikipedia as I can't be bothered to dig out my medical physics or dermatology textbook.
Quote:
UVA, UVB and UVC can all damage collagen fibers and thereby accelerate aging of the skin. Both UVA and UVB destroy vitamin A in skin which may cause further damage.[9] In general, UVA is the least harmful, but can contribute to the aging of skin, DNA damage and possibly skin cancer
On the other hand, I will agree with you in the fact that blacklight will produce albinos or any other mutations (ignore my previous post, for some reason I thought blacklights emitted small amounts of the other two uv spectrums.) The amount of mutations caused by the effect of the blacklight will be so small that it is very very unlikely that they caused any albinos to appear. Sunlights UV radiation would cause even more mutations and cells have ways of repairing these mutations.

I more or less agree with you as it seems you've reached the same conclusion. UVA-B-C are the broad ranges that solar UV is lumped into.
UVA can cause DNA damage. Not directly like UVC (and somewhat with UVB), but through the process of generating reactive intermediates and radicals that can damage DNA. Most organisms have no problem dealing with UVA. UVB/C will kill you long before you suffer the slightest damage from UVA.
We're also talking about a fluorescent tube that emits perhaps 20 watts and only in the least damaging UV spectrum. That is in no way comparable to the UV contained in sunlight.
You can sit under a standard blacklight for days, even looking into it, with no damage whatsoever. Expose your skin to shortwave UV (UVC) from a germicidal lamp or the like and you will be quickly sunburned. A nasty sunBURN rather than the tanning people are used to from the sun or tanning beds.
Anyhow, low power UVA blacklights like the ones we're talking about have no potential to increase the rate of mutation or generate mutants.
