The real, physical, local or national paper?

I work for a newspaper - I get it free.

I used to get it delivered, but I only read the comics. I've stopped getting the paper for a couple years now.
Last week, I was thinking I would like to start reading them again (for the articles as well as the comics). I guess the idea followed by your post is a sign.
Why do you ask?

Nah...I use FARK.com for news, though it's not local. I can see myself someday, however, sitting down at the table and reading the paper.

I like reading the paper
usually when I have nothing really going on that day, I'll chill with some coffee and just spread the paper out and read like everything

I always read the newspaper. Usually cover to cover, except Sports and Business. I like being educated about what is going on in my city and the world.

Nahh mon, google.com/ig ftw.. I have newscientist, physorg, bbc and slashdot feeds.. beaming me all the news I could possibly need
And when I'm feeling a bit more socialist, I opt for indymedia.org.uk.
The only time I ever read a physical newspaper is when someone leaves one on the train (I commute everyday )

I quit the newspaper a few years ago. Took too much time in the morning, and the letters to the editor made me pissed off first thing. Haven't missed it really.
I do not take a single newspaper, nor read one a month, and I feel myself infinitely the happier for it.

I read the newspaper almost every day, but there's a free box across the street from where I work, so I don't buy it
There's actually some interesting shit that goes on, once I started reading it I was hooked.

Yeah I really like my local paper, The Park Slope Courier which covers Brooklyn happenings in general and events in my immediate neighborhoods, Park Slope and Carroll Gardens. It really makes me feel more a part of a community, which is great because my neighborhood has that neighborhood-y feel to it.
I also like to pick up the New York Times now and then...especially on Sundays. SUnday to me is a day to be kicked off with coffee, eggs, a joint, and the Sunday Times.
