Rhode Island and Connecticut?
    #770423 - 07/23/02 11:21 AM (21 years, 8 months ago)

Does anyone know if any psilocybes grow in the wild in rhode island or connecticut, or anywhere else in new england for that matter? the only fields i know of are somewhat of a drive from where i am at, so i'd rather not make the journey and risk getting caught and questioned if there is no possibility of finding anything. any help would be appreciated!

Most likely Panaeolus Subbalteatus. I'm in NY and find alot of them. Also, Panaeolus Sphinctrinus might be there. And maybe Liberty caps in the fall! Good luck!!

well...im in massachusetts and have found pan subbs only twice and only enough for two trips... (new to hunting)
visit mjshroomer's site and there is a section that is devoted to listing known active mushrooms for each state.
just so you know... pan. sphinctrinus is not active...
