After PCing them and tightening the lids, they LEAK and are not airtight. Is there something I'm missing? GAH!

Sheesh fuck this whole baby bottle thing, shoulda just used a quart jar!

Used agar's tek, got evenflo bottles, and they leak....nipple is facing into the bottle...wtf?

Precisely!





Even whenever I was using baby bottles for their intended purpose the nipples would sometimes warp when they get too hot.
Thus loosening the seal, and leaking.

With the LC lid fully tightened and using a vacutainer port...you can turn the entire jar on it's side to suck up the myc.
(As long as you don't get the filter wet, and as Agar showed us before...a Whatman type filter is optimal for such use; I forget which vendor had them though.)

Which (especially after vortexing to break up the myc) is VERY efficient.  :grin:

The blue ones are the self healing ones.

You can also take them off the top of a vacutainer (if you happen to find one OR want to order those from a sponsor).

some of mine leaked. i then bought better ones. and the nipple was much better fit.
