Yes, they are.
I recommend that you cook them.
> also do you know what the potency is of them?
0%, like most Psilocybes they are completely inactive.

Before the pics i had posted and was told that they were safe to eat, so i ate one and i lost all voice inside my head, i couldn't think, my hand started to appear to morph slightly, do you know what that could possibly be because of? also i felt it for about 2 days after with a mild upset stomach (NO vomiting or diaria) and i kept feeling like objects were moving around me when they weren't. also about yesterday a few mushrooms poped up right next to those with a golden cap a whiter stem and tan gills, any idea what those could be? i'll take pics of the dead ones when the snow goes away tomorrow. (i can't believe it snowed on my shrooms be them psychedelic or not) and it was perfect weather too for shrooms here in colorado

no it was very entertaining both of the bad thing, #1 i got to ditch work that day and tried to read poetry and thought a poem about a flower was about war. also i am a snow-a-holic i can't get enough of the white stuff but shrooms and snow just don't mix, UNLESS your snowboarding!(so i've heard thats totally where i want to trip first, i want to get this hunting thing down though, Plus no possible shrooms untill december, mountian open then, but then i have way to much work to be "dumb for a month" as my friend says. but any idea what the golden shrooms might be

Those could be P. fimetara rather than P. coprophila, which would explain any trip that may have occured.

Eating the shit they grow from makes you trip even harder! More potent than a native Cube in Ottawa!

For ID requests we require that you give a full description of the mushrooms. Otherwise your topic will soon be locked. Use our sample ID requests as examples for what we are looking for.
It is a bad choice to eat unidentified mushrooms like you did. It is the number one rule when hunting wild mushrooms and you broke it. This is your warning 1dude1, never come here ever again telling us you ate something that you were not 100% sure about or you will be banned.
And I would advise against eating Psilocybe coprophila. They are not good edibles as far as I know. And I've never seen them referenced in any books as something you would have any reason to eat.

no. universities are places for us to attend for the purpose of participating in structured study of this stuff. universities are not like primary school, they are a place where the students make thier own study. a much more interesting proposal imo.

cmon theres why not the universities just find every species and study and identify them? instead of us doing it and fucking things up.
like fuck, the smart people should be doing there friggin jobs, if they were doing there jobs we would know everything... and be informed of everything.
cmon its 2007 we should atleast have every species identified. perhaps not in the ocean yet but on land yes.
