ID Request - South British Columbia
    #7502332 - 10/09/07 05:36 PM (16 years, 6 months ago)

There are just some little guys I found near my neighbor's lawn. I'm not hoping for actives or anything, I've just never done an ID request and I'm interested to know more about the common mushrooms that grow around here. Thanks!

Habitat: Among some grass - found by my neighbor's lawn.

Gills: The gill color is white.

Stem: White stem, short and thick.

Cap: White on the outside and a creamy tanish brown color in the middle.

Spore print color: Coming in a little bit.

Bruising: No color change was observed.

Location: Picked in Fraser Valley, BC

jeez, somebody's an impatient ass. figured it out? then why bother asking. clearly if you know what you're doing you don't need out help.

If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

no, I haven't figured it out actually, that's the whole reason why I posted this here. so stfu if you don't have anything constructive to say, because it doesn't sound like you have much experience either.

The spore print was brown - dark brownish, but it doesn't really matter. I'll probably find something a little more interesting to post later on.

:tongue2:
