hello people
This Post is how to tell and test if your cannabis if it is contaminated or not
you will have to perform both tests be be sure as the new grit weed is not gritty in the mouth any more
Test 1#
Eat a small bit of your bud,
if it tastes horrible, gritty, sweet or burns your toung its no good
Test 2#
Burn the bud with a lighter till it turns to ash
If the ash is black and hard chuck it out
its probably been sprayed with hairspray, silica or something unknown.
weed when burnt should turn white/gray and brake down like normal ash
if you get this black ash stuff chuck it out or take it back to the dealer
DO NOT SMOKE IT! . . .
there is also another contam what is very very powdery that looks like it can be the cronic full of thc on the bud but when u taste it it tastes like nothing,
This stuff is called brix+ what is a carbohydrate power to bulk up the weed and make it taste nicer
THC and resin when you eat some "if it is resin" it will stick to your tooth when chewing it, after then you move your toung over the tooth you will feel the resin on it, this is how I test for potency usually,
Alway always run theses test

yah, resins are my favourite, although i cant beat a good bud. all i can get round here is pollen, while its way better than council hash (which has probably never seen weed in its life) i dont like the stone from it.

This shits all over the uk. I've been telling all my mates but they still smoke it.
It sort of looks like thc, only its really yellow and doesn't stick to the bud. Doesn't taste of anything either.
_ALL_ the bud I've seen in the last month has been covered in that shit.

I've seen all sorts, time before last when I was shotting I had bud that the ash burnt black and went hard.. didn't burn properly.
The last stuff I had looked like it was dipped in something (luckily I didn't smoke any of it)
And I bought some nice apparently non contaminated bud to smoke and it had that fucking dusty yellow not trichome shit on it.

Its not just the uk.
But a lot of it is. As 90% of our bud is homegrown.. but they've been raiding the fuck out of all the growers this summer, so we've had to import.
Import means greater risk, so it costs more, for less. So dealers have to start cutting it up to make their money back. Bastards.

that yellow white stuff sounds like good old brik+ to me
it has its own flavors you will start to know when u taste it

that brix+ sounds like some sort of silica bloom enhancer ( like silica blast, or silica by duchmaster)
If it is the same shit then I know what you guy's are talking about. Out here it seems to be a fad which is slowly picking up.
The bud that is grown with this stuff seems to have a shit load of crystals. An almost orangy look to it. When the bud is try and you snap it in half, the crystals fall to the table. But when smoked the weed gives you a headache more than a high, and it taste like shit.
I understand the desire to have a good looking product, especially to get a good looking product with little to no work to sell for large profits. But if this shit continues, nobody will want to by it!
Like all fad's, I hope this goes away soon.

I don't know why you guys put up with that shit.
I've never seen weed that I had to put to any kind of "Test"
And as far as it being homegrown, All of our shit is "Homegrown"

I remember the days of Cali orange bud " Nice dark looking Bud's and solid "
I did test that green
instead of chucking it out it dumped it all in a glass of water to see what will happen
the water turned yellowish and cloudy with theses dirty particles that was on the bud with theses tiny white specks the shape of Little worms,
funny thing is I didn't see the white gritty stuff on it till I put in inside the water, then you could see all the white stuff on the buds after soaking
was too white to be THC or resin and it was not the shape of resin
" IE tiny white worm shape stuff" probally a machine grinding it up the silica to make it not gritty to the taste
IE tiny tiny tiny stands
next day it was all on the bottom of the glass with water,
I touched this stuff it was all bundled up on the bottom of the water and I could feel it was gritty feeling when all together
that must be the new ultra fine silica grit
when I tasted it in the mouth no grittiness at all
BUT IT DID BURN IN TO BLACK HARD ASH

uk is a piss take at the mo, the daily mail are always talking about pissin skunk , were the fuck is this so called skunk thats just blown up in the uk.
i aint seen proper skunk for a few yaers now, and tbh its a hell of a lot more haelthy smokeing skunk and good bud than the shit were gettin at the mo with glass and grit in.

I feel sympathy for you in the u.k. Whoever has a dealer that sells that junk, expose them and demand they get you better herb. I would just not buy hash if I lived in the uk. If you are getting ripped off with weed, think of what they may be cutting your hash with.
You people need to start importing more from afghanistan or Greece or something, if somebody sold me some weed with silica, I would tell everyone I could not to buy from them.
And it's true, it's not just uk. It's all over Europe. Here in the u.s. we just don't have that problem.
