It's not myc. It's growing form the surface-down.

looks like myc to me
I recently did wbs for my first time and it looked fluffy as hell on the top, not too much different than that.
but in my experience cobweb is a lot less dense than mycelium and spreads like wildfire.

I really hope that that was sarcasm. You really don't think he's ever picked his cakes up? That's probably what the bruising is from given its proximity to the spot.

Your good on all pics. And the pinning just depends on the cake. 100% humidity with a fully inside and out colonized cake will fruit in no time. Just be patient (which sucks) and you will get your pin heads.
Mine took forever because I didn't have 100% RH once I did pin heads were present on almost all cakes.
Hope that helps.

I just got my first pins on my first grow, and I almost made a big mistake. RH was 99% and that was all good. Saw growth of myc after about three days in the FC. Just wasn't getting enough FAE. The myc started looking like knots at first, which was good, but then became like little cotton balls. It had too much CO2 build up b/c I wasn't fanning enough. So, on day six, I started fanning like a mad man. The next day, day 7, my first pins finally started poking through and the myc started looking normal again. Now I have a ton of pins!!!! So, make sure you get plenty of FAE, 4-5 times per day, and make sure your RH is in upper 90's. Good luck. Also, there's really no set time on when you're gonna see pins. It all depends on your setup and how far along the cake is, RH, fully colonized, etc..... If you do your part, they will do theirs!!!!

One more thing...the fingertip may not hurt it, but it definitely isn't going to help it! The less you touch your cakes, the better off they're gonna be. Really isn't a need to touch them until you are ready to harvest your first flush. It just opens the door for more things to go wrong. That's just my two cents....
