Has anyone ever drank Ayahuasca at a concert?

Inspired by the "Has anyone ever ate fungus at a concert?" thread.
I've smoked DMT quite a few times now. I have yet to try Ayahuasca. I think it would be really cool to drink some and go see one of Simon Posfords projects, or something similar.
I wonder how intense aya is compared to DMT freebase. I'm sure I would actually try Ayahausca somewhere else before drinking it at a concert.
Has anyone actually tried this? If so, how was it?

yes I did, at a psychedelic trance festival... maybe later I expand a bit more on this but I gotta go eat..
even though I had a good experience in general, I would not really recommend it
I personally feel the proper ayahuasca setting is either in nature in a ritual with a shaman or an experienced leader, or with few close friends but in silence and without light, so that you can get really deep in the experience

I dont know about iboga and datura, but aya is indeed not a festival drug
It is not for enjoyment, fun or anything similar.. In fact, many times it can be quite unpleasant in the general sense, because you will face your mistakes, the ones you didnt notice, and go through remorse-of-conscience for them that you had repressed.. Vomiting (the purge) is a very common experience and one that you want to have in a familiar setting..
also, since you are so sensitive, you definitely do not want to be near all those ecstasy or cocaine heads around..
When I took it in a festival, I took it with a friend who is from the Santo Daime church.. We still made some sort of ritual, and spent most of the time in the woods near the party.. I went to the dancefloor once and had an interesting experience, I could see people dancing around me even with my eyes closed.. I was lucky to have good moments in the dancefloor because the music was very well produced and not just some commercial crap, and also because the moment I was there, all around me were only people on psychedelics (I was very sensitive, I could easily sense the different consciousness wavelenghts).
I left the dancefloor because I sensed some weird vibrations, which came from some ecstasy people that had just arrived near me. I ended up just going back to the forest for the rest of the trip with this friend.
what you can do instead, if you like this kind of music, which is what I did once, was to take ayahuasca in a familiar setting with friends, mostly in silence, but at some point after the peak and after purging, I decided to put some music on my headphones. It was a beautiful experience and a wonderful way to end the trip.
btw, dmt is veeeeeeeeeeeeeeery different from ayahuasca... DMT is like a cannon of this weird fractal world being shot in your brain. It is very strong, as you know, and you experience this ´dimension´ and it´s inhabitants.. BUT, when it ends, it ends.. you leave with a feeling of ´awe´ for the universe, knowing that reality is just so much bigger than you thought.. but you dont leave with a teaching, with a big inner learning about yourself and how you acted
Ayahuasca on the other hand, is much more personal, much more of a teacher.. It shows yourself, whether you want to see it or not.. It is very humbling, it takes away all your pride and shows you how much more you have to go through in your personal development.. The ayahausca experience doesnt end when the ´trip´ ends.. It only begins there.. You know you have many more things to do, you leave with many objectives. I already had lessons like ´treat my mom better´, ´study more´, ´spend less time in the computer´, ´sacrifice myself more for my girlfriend´, ´stop judging people so much´, etc etc But that was for me.. for you, it will show you your own particular problems
In a representative example, ayahuasca makes the talking people shut up and the quiet people talk more.. It can show exactly what each one is lacking in that specific moment of their path..
But it is not a magic solution for all of the world´s problems.. It is a wonderful help for some, but maybe for others not.. If you decide to try it, go with respect and dont panic.. Even if you feel your whole world being deconstructed, remember the unity behind it all, the Love that brings us all together.. Good luck

To illustrate:
If I had never tried ayahuasca, and took it at a show I know exactly how I would react.
I would probably eventually leave OR I would walk around the venue until the show is over(because I really like to take walks when the dose is strong enough). A concert venue is not a great place to take a walk, but I would make it work.
All this, provided that I knew how to make a purge free/sickness free brew, like I do now. Its not much of a brew though. It can be VERY strong, involves rue, lasts longer, but it somehow feels like a cheat code. I only feel that way because so many others would look at it that way. I think its great.
In reality though I would never take ayahuasca at a show. Im not saying anyone else should feel this way, but I would just feel so dirty if I did that. A concert venue, such loud music, and hundreds/thousands of people shant be my setting, ever. It cant really make ayahuasca better than it already is, and for me there is no doubt it would hinder the trip in many ways.
It would be a wild ride, but its not for me.

As far as I know, Ayahuasca requires total darkness and the less noise possible. Sure ain't a party drug. I am myself waiting to take a trip to South America to try it.

Cool, thanks for the advice everyone. Yeah, I wasn't really thinking about that whole crazy purging thing. I know Ayahuasca Isn't a recreational drug. I kind of disagree with the whole freebased DMT is not a good teacher idea. I feel as if it had taught be quite a bit. I've had those intense introspective moments while smoking it.

The one time I tried Aya (even with using gelain to soak up tannins and what not) I was still a little queasy.. didn't feel like walking around or even standing.. sitting down was nice though. and the dose wasn't even that strong. only around 15grams of quality mimosa hostilis root bark, left over from extractions, per person..
and as it was my first time ever brewing Aya, so I probably lost a little bit as well

Yeah, I hear that. As I said I haven't yet tried Ayahauasca, but a few times smoking DMT in the woods have been some of the most revealing experiences I've had in life. Everything is so alive. I mean, I know everyone knows that plants are alive, but this really made me think, "Wow all of this is Alive!." I don't know, it's difficult to describe.
Even the trees have a way of communicating with each other. That may sound pretty much insane, but I'm convinced that it's the truth.
Another time, a friend and I smoked some DMT in the woods. I stumbled apon a hive of wasps in a hole in the ground while in the "other woods." My friend who was walking ahead had walked right over it, so I kind of thought it was just a hallucination or something.
I was very wrong. I watched one land on my arm, and it stung me. After that I got stung about twelve or so times down the side of my back. I started running for my life, because I'm pretty sure a whole hive of wasps could actually kill someone.
I've had some bad trips on DMT before, but I'd have to say that it was much more strange to be actually physically injured in real life while you're blissed out in some heavenly, glorious, living forest filled with totem-faced trees, and holographic fern people and whatnot.
It was pretty hilarious after the fact, but how's that for something that makes you think of the duality of nature?

yeah getting bitten up by bugs and shit out in nature doesn't sound fun. it would bug me out ... literally at home in bed is where you wanna be. you can get up and go to the bathroom and puke and you will be glad you have that nice warm bed to go back to especially when you are in the middle of a cold sweat from puking. you will still see all that Aya can show you from behind your closed eyelids

Yeah, I know what you're saying. But I still think that smoking DMT out in the woods is one of the most amazing experiences possible. I can't be mad at the wasps when I invaded their territory and probably stepped on and killed a bunch of them! Getting stung a bunch of times was a small price to pay for what I got to see that day!

Taking Ayahuasca at a concert is a no-no. Personally, I would never do it. The setting just isn't proper.
Take ayahuasca in nature, in a forest, or by the beach.

I wouldn't drink Ayahuasca at a concert for fairly obvious reasons. Firstly, there's a rather high chance that doing so would result in my vomit ending up all over someone's clothes. Secondly, it would be- in light of what Ayahuasca is capable of inducing- rather empty and pointless.
Essentially I wouldn't drink ayahuasca at a concert for the same reasons I wouldn't try to read Buddhist scriptures or a Bible at a concert. Even if it was done via an extraction, so I was just taking two capsules instead of drinking filth, in my experience the Ayahuasca trip is not something that lends itself well to socialising. A few people in nature is far more appropriate.
All in all, there's just far too many ways drinking ayahuasca in public, let alone at a concert, could go horribly wrong.
