hpoo process question...

so im thinkin of buying a bag off mycopath. 50/50 hpoo straw. and i'd probably use WBS to colonize. then spwn to it. im kinda confused about the process. i did some searching and couldnt find a good tek for this.
but id assume you colonize the WBS. then spawn that to your HPOO. i think i read 1:4 ratio? then incubate...then put in FC.
someone point me in a good tek, or gimme the basics..
..sorry for such a redundant question, just couldnt find the info i wanted searching.
thanks!

Typical spawn ratios I've heard is 1:5. You can use more spawn to have it colonize faster. I did 2 lbs WBS to 5 lbs Hpoo and it turned out pretty well.
Break up the spawn and mix it in with the poo. Let it sit a week or so until fully colonized...

Actually, I ended up just buying 2lb fungi bags from mycopath. A bag of rye and a bag of WBS. The rye didn't grow shit for some reason, but the WBS colonized quite well.

i really wanna try hpoo and straw. i went to wal mart today and got some WBS. some lava rocks, and new bubble wands. im going to make my PMP beautiful. it already worked well, but i want something easier. better. im going to be injecting my WBS with a LC. im sure this will work, just not 100% sure. then ill just have to read a good tek on where to go from there....

I don't know how many pounds equals how many quarts of poo, but a half-pint jar of WBS to a quart of substrate works ok. More is better, of course. So eyeball it, and add 50%.

ehh..i have pint jars, and quart jars. will probably use the quart jars, i just bought 3 tubs that were decent in size. under 10x10" but thats pretty decent and taller. im so unsure im just gonna make extra WBS. and proabbly order 5 lbs of 50/50 hpoo/straw. should i be good with that?
i have one of those, and 2 that are half the size. figured id try 3 grows of the same. make sure nothing bad happens!

Sounds like it should work. Five pounds of dry poo? That might be a lot. Bummer if you have too much and have to grow more mushrooms...
