 I want my youth back

I want to start over. I want to never have started smoking. I want to have a better relationship with my parents. I want to graduate high school. I want to have healthy relationships with men. I want to have a career. I want to be awesome and beautiful and fun.
But I can only go forward.... so I will.

i want to have not wasted 18 years of my life being a preacher's kid and throwing away most of my social skills involving anyone outside the church.

I hear you. I just had a birthday a few days ago so I have been feeling things like that lately as well. A lot of the things that you mentioned are possible to turn around, even now. It just takes a lot of work.

How can you not do well in grade school? It's playtime for 6 hours a day. It's the best time of everyone's life.

I was too busy being "cool" and skipping class to smoke pot. While I had some awesome times in highschool I realize now that I can still have a badass time and do well in school.

School is my greatest enemy and I don't understand why. I'm going to be a 30 year old waitress.

I hate school too. Maybe try something easy like being a receptionist or doing Call Center or Data Entry work.

You did start smoking... so what? When it's time to stop, you will. Better relationship with parents? If you want it, make it. Graduate high school? The smartest people I know didn't graduate... GED's are cake. The last three? Believe in yourself. Women are amazing,and have hidden strength few people see. Why want to start over?? Life won't stop, so live every day for what you want, not what you did want.
Sorry if I sound preachy. I just used to be pretty pathetic and depressed so have an unusual perspective now that I found my way.
