Tomorrow night I'm seeing Battles play a free show at the seaport...Saturday my friend is having a keg party for her 24th birthday. Sunday, I think I might have to smoke some DMT. And Monday, which is supposed to be a day off, I'm getting paid 150-175 dollars to run back and forth between Whole Foods and a music venue being a band's food and drink gopher for 4 or 5 hours.

Tomorrow night is SU's first football game vs. UWashington. Then it's off to a party for a friend before he leaves for school. Saturday I'm heading up to UB to hang out with some friends there and that is always a good time. Sunday I have a fantasy football draft, same thing Monday. Should be getting my pods today or tomorrow so I guess I'll try some tea out at some point this weekend too.

i'll likely work every night this weekend. sweet sweet moneys. there's a small party at my place tomorrow night. and a huge party at my friends' place on sunday (it's a massive fucking house that like 8 people are living in). i think they've already got like 50+ confirmed guests on facebook. should be fucking wild.
and the battles, eh? i've only listened to them a little. my roommate was in love with their song atlas a few weeks back. that should be fun though.

free medeski scofield martin and wood show at the chicago jazz fest tomorrow night... need to get ahold of some friends in the city so my car load has a place to crash, that i might get properly spun for some jazzy tunes.
and need to move as well (at least get my bed into my new flat after work today - passing out on the only couch i have with no pillows and no blankets wasn't all that comfortable), so when i get back on saturday that'll probably take up the rest of the weekend.

If you wanna see some good free music I think Battles takes the stage at the seaport at like 8 tomorrow.

Hey if you like battles check out Menomena. There's a more vocals but it's phenomenal music. They have two albums I am the fun blame monster and Friend or foe, both are excellent the first one is more instrumental.
But I'll be seeing Glass Harp and Phil Kaegy on sunday, and be camping friday and saturday, should be a very peaceful weekend.

yeeeeah man, Menomena is fantastic. Funny that they met each other through the Christian music scene. They are a terrific band.
