    #7349081 - 08/29/07 04:30 PM (16 years, 6 months ago)

Hello, me the noob again. Think I may have hit it lucky without even hunting...

Habitat: Woodchips, under flax in riparian planting

Gills: Yellowish brownish

Stem: White, strong blue bruising almost immediately after removing from ground

Cap: Brown, often with golden centre, goldish colour on drying, wavy with little nipple in centre

Spore print color: What i think is a purplish-brown colour

Bruising: Strong blueing

Location: Central Auckland

when he says subs he means p. subaeruginosa
not the subs you might be thinking of Def ..
then again I might jus be a lil drunk but I'm pretty sure those are p. subaeruginosa found alot in Australia ..pretty native to that part of the globe

"suBs" = Psilocybe subaeruginosa

"suBBs" = Panaeolus subbalteatus

Get it right- end the confusion!!!!

I'm sorry, I don't mean to be offensive, however, this sort of lingo offends me. So I must ask, are you just using it playfully (which i can understand) or do you use it so you don't have to touch as many keys?? If the latter, can you explain why sparing 4 key strokes is worth risking your credibility? To many people, constant misspellings, and slang or "LOL lingo", is a flagrant display that a person is uneducated, extremely lazy, or both.
The rest of your typing is respectable, so i had to ask...

You'd look down upon someone for lol? I don't think I've heard too many people type out laughing out loud, I mean I usually use a simple Ha, or a heh to indicate a chuckle, but I don't think LoL makes you appear unintelligent.

However I do agree that throwing numbers into abbreviations looks childish like.... I dont h8 ne1....that sounds like a 4th grader.

I think she's probably talking about when people go:
"liek omgz wut da hellz !<! liek dat is sooooo k00l wut da frick is dat dos ne1 kno where i cn find thos knd of schrooms? ty 4 ne help u can gimme"

Right? LoL lingo is a good term, I'm not sure if there is an actual name for it however.  :shrug:
