 Questioning a first time..

This really is not Off topic, I just don't know where to put it.
I'm Questioning the use of "shrooms" On a personal level. I'm not sure how I feel towards them.
The only other things I have done would be Marijuana, And Salvia Divinorum.
I am Considering Mushrooms as my first long-term Hallucinogen. I am only interested in Natural herbs (No chemicals) So I thought sure why not try mushrooms. But I'm a bit sketchy. I would like to know people's opinion on my (Still undecided) choice. And if there are some things i need to know.
Sure I have gotten some information from friends, but i would also like some outside opinions.
This is mainly what I am looking for in any form of "Drug"
1. Time Duration; Nothing much more then 4-6 hours.
2. Artistic Qualities; I love to paint, photo shop, draw, and write music.
3. Something that is not too obvious to other people. I don't need the world knowing I'm on something..
4. Euphoria; I want to be able to be around people and try to express my love.
5. Some Visual Distortions; Nothing too serious, just some breathing or color changes, I really don't want to see a wolf in my profile, or something odd like that..
6. NOTHING THAT WILL MAKE ME SLEEPY.
7. Natural.
If anyone knows anything like that, or if it would be closest to mushrooms, please let me know..

Just so you know, Psylocibin is a chemical. A naturally occuring chemical but a chemical none the less

i think the whole "natural drugs only" thing is a crock of shit. it's also very hard to act normal when you're on them.
still, i think it's totally worth it and you'd have a blast.

I'm sorry, i should have been more clear, what I mean to say is something synthetic.. It is hard to explain, it's just the way I think.. something naturally occurring.

I used to be hung up on "Natural" substances too but I mean Psylocybin is a chemical as well and if you are careful and use moderation almost anything can be safe.
That being said I think based on your criteria the drug for you is MDMA, or Ecstacy. You want enhanced creativity and feelings of love/euphoria, with a bit of energy it seems. You are much less likely to appear strange to other people around you and will be able to communicate effectively. Mushrooms are a great thing but they can be unpredictable.

Nah, it's not hard to explain. I too used to think like that. What you actually mean is no hard drugs, as Heroin and Cocaine are both naturally derived.

most drugs are naturally occurring, it's just easier to synthesize it than to extract it.
Shrooms would probably be good for you, personally I'd consider lsd or mdma for some of the other effects your looking for.

oh i know what you mean. i think everyone goes through that phase until they realize that it's a crock of shit and that drugs are drugs.

Ive been told I I'm "Naturally on MDMA" That is more of a "Feel-good drug" I'm looking for something artistic more so.

you say you want slight visual distortions and euphoria. Shrooms are for you but only in low doses. On higher doses, (or perhaps more specifically - 'normal' doses) the visuals become a lot more than just rippling and breathing, and the mindfuck that accompinies it as well is what a loit of people don't realise comes along with it.
there is a fine line between what you are describing and harder 'tripping' that is really hard to distinguish, especially with varying shroom potency, dosage charts and your own personal chemistry.
Start low and I think you will find what you're looking for.

lsd is very artistic, mushrooms can be... taking a bit of mdma with either of the above will likely produce what your looking for, happy outgoing, and expressive.

Haha, I Used to HATE all drugs, and that opinion has only changed within the last 6 months. After my boyfriend opened my eyes.

THC is also a "chemical" guys, I don't think the OP cares about "chemicals" in that aspect, as long as it isn't synthesized. I can sort of see where they are coming from.
Anyway, shrooms may be for you. They are natural, non habit forming, completely safe.They don't really last more than 5 or 6 hours. I'm not sure how well you will do at drawing or writing but you are definitly more creative on shrooms. You may have some euphoria or some deep personal moments or even some fear depending on the trip. It really shouldn't make you sleepy/. I can't sleep when I trip/for a while after I trip. and last, you may get some pretty intense visuals depending on how much you take.
Take like a gram and a half and smoke some bud and I think that may give you your desired results.

everything you subscribe sounds like a nice bag of shrooms ...about 3.5 grams if you want to be able to have some function
