I'm pretty sure the plant itself is illegal.

even where legal it is often very expensive. seeds are pricey too and not the best route.

whats the best route?
Even tho it might be illegal i really doubt owning one plant would get you in any sort of trouble...Anybody know of someone going to jail for iboga?

I think theres been only ONE case of people traffiking large amounts of iboga into the US... and that's it.

Seeds rarely sprout. I know people who bought lots of seeds from various sources and got nothing. My imaginary neighbor has one. He says it likes high humidity, much like salvia.

buying plants is the best route.
stonehenge. i have heard that many seeds are pretty old. and i am under the understanding that they need to be fresh, even so they are still difficult/slow germinators. is that correct?
