Target has a good scale made for weighing food from chefmate that's very accurate, it weighs in grams oz and lbs plus it has a cooking timer and a clock. It weighs up to 72 oz or 2000 gr. $20

Everyone else is right, unless you want a huge one that plugs in and can way pounds $20 off eBay is all you need.

I bought a $10 scale on ebay. It measures to .1 and I've used it for about 5 years now. Works great and still weighs exact.

walmart has postal scales slightly larger than a couple cd cases stacked on each other... they're 9 volt.... weigh grams and ounces... has a capacity of a lil over 3 pounds... they're durable and cheap at $20.... if they bum out you can buy a new one and return the old in its place.... unless you bounce them off the floor they'll do fine though.... i've had some for a couple years... they're by the padded envelopes and stationary
