yea, I watched Planet Earth on my cousin's 60" HDTV while I was on MDA a little while back, and thought it looked more real than real life, too.

good stuff. TV is pretty lame otherwise. HD News is especially fucking lame, though. there's absolutely no reason for it, just like non-HD news.

I picked up a 27" LCD monitor a few months back... it's nice, I even have room on my desk for my lotion and tissues now!

the first gen plasmas had much lower half lifes on their cells. Its not so anymore. As long as you properly burn in material to adjust the inisit screen and adjust your colors/contrast/etc to PROPER settings, not BURN OUT THE EYEBALLS factory GLOW OFF setting, then a plasma will last much much much longer.
