Some Pics & Stuff

Today I decided I wanted to get more spawn going but all my jars are full of newly colonized grain. So I improvised and emptied all my jars into gallon zip-lock baggies!

As you can see there are 12 blocks of coir going into my next grow.

The jars are now being cleaned.

Here they soak in soapy water.

This is my huge bag of Vermiculite. I love her. I drove a hour to get her and paid a little over 19.00 inc Tax.

I'm trying to figure out how many 54 gallon tubs I'm going to need for 12 blocks of coir. I would post dimensions but they are in the car and my girl has that at the moment.

if your jars were fully colonized why didnt you spawn it to coir ?

How many quarts spawn going to use in total?

I'm not ready to yet. I still need to get some new tubs. I just wanted to get some more spawn going.

lol ok just is kinda weird usualy i do like 1:5 ratio for coir in a 78 quart tub doesnt take that many jars really

12 for a martha? I can fill my martha from top to bottom and only use 2 blocks. One for the substrate and one to make casing material.

What do you use 12 for ?

well it was kinda like a Martha basically what i did is got 3 Martha's and molded them together and made a pretty big green house for my basement.hooked up 2 humidifiers and set trays of perlite for humidity i can fit about 20 12 quart tun substrates on a 5 level PVC pipe rack that i made.
