The benefits of colors

What would you say the benefits are of using colored jars/chambers, etc are in mycology? What experiences have you had doing so, and what colors did you use?

Are you trying to color coordinate with the rest of the colors in your room, so everything matches? :shrug:

Mason jars are clear. Clear tubs will let more light in, so I don't recommend using anything else.

Clear when you want to let light in,any opaque color when you want to block light out
