Strange Casing Growth? (pics)

Well,
I've made a bunch of mistakes along the way but I think I've learned quite a bit on my 2nd attempt. This was my first shot at casing; Rye spawned to Coir/Coffee. Spawn ratio was approximately 1:1. I lost 2 of the 4 tubs I started with to the green.
I'm going to post a few pics here of the 2 that have survived.
Here's #1:
Here's #2
I'm sure you notice the strange growth. Anyone know what this is?
Here's a closer view:
So, my reason for posting is mainly out of confusion. Does the first one look normal? How about the weird growth on the second?
I'm trying to decide on what to do next. My original plan was to case and put into my greenhouse. Now that I only have two tubs(maybe 1?) is that still a viable idea?

Perhaps it's sclerotia?
How long have they been fully colonized, and have they been exposed to light through that clear lid the whole time??
Unless it's sclerotia, it can't be anything good, though =\

Fully colonized for 3-4 days at this point. I had a busy week so I was unable to tend to them until now. They are stored in a closet throughout the day and normally checked at night. I took them out today so they would be easily visible. So, as for light; they've received some but have been stored in darkness.
The growth is strange, I mean... it really doesn't seem like mold but has a fleshy mushroom-flesh-like ring all the way around it. Hopefully it will start communicating with me soon.

That pretty much looks like some kind of mold that munches mycelium in a weird way. Looks kind of... yeah, well... disgusting

Well, notice the mycelium that is growing inside of it? That just started a couple of days ago. It doesn't seem to be eroding the mycelium at all, just shifting it around a bit. It seems fleshy and the greenish blue areas look a lot like bruising.

BTW ,
don't call that a casing.
You haven't even applied a casing layer, and even if you did, you still don't call the whole thing a casing.

that's some odd looking mutant. take the lid off and put it in your fc. too late to case if it's entered fruiting mode. i'd be interested to see it in a couple of days though. gl.

looks like it has knots on it, and to me that kind of looked like a deformed mushroom that was contaminated.. but i'm really not sure. Id say its too late to put a casing layer on it so its ready to fruit. Put it in the FC and see what becomes of it. Follow up with pictures.

Going to prepare my FC today and put those guys in there. Thanks for all of the feedback.
Either I will post an update in a few days, or that thing will take over my brain and post its own update(I'll leave it a note). In the meantime, I think I'll start applying my newfound knowledge and get a monotub started.
