what if you took a jar that was colonized; smacked it to create an air
pocket between the cake and jar bottom. Then once the cake residue on
the jar bottom colonized. Birth it, in a glove box, take the empty jar
put sterilized water and scrape the myc. off the sides with sumthing sterilized. then suck up into a syringe or add h2o2. that would be ghetto; would it work?

doesnt make much sense to me,
if you start with "a jar that was colonized"
I dont think you'd have much "cake residue" left to be colonized...? I might be missing something though,
and the best advice I could give is try it!

i used a fully colonized jar of grain shook it up with sterile water filled all my syringes let the jar drain it recolonized and the lc colonized another 4 cases of jars bt im thinkin it wouldnt work as well with cakes at worst youd be losing one jar to colonize many though.good luck
