When is the last time you just went down to the river, or the forest?(or something)
    #6800039 - 04/17/07 02:37 PM (17 years, 3 days ago)

I'll be going down to the river today, and maybe even deep into the forest, and some feilds,  to sprinkle seeds of the most beautiful wild floweres around.

You know which ones.

With me, I'll be taking an Ipod full of modest mouse and other goodness, some amazing herb, my pipe, a cell phone, some seeds, and some very bitter liquid medicine.

Wish me luck! :bongload::bigweed:

When's the last time you went to the forest? or down to the river.

Well, I'm in rain city, and I have no car - so getting out to the mountains is an entire weekend - but I did go to the Locks (err, the things boats pass through in canals) on Sunday to feed birds and play guitar.

Have fun at the river.

This is want I want to do almost daily, but everyday I ask myself "Where in Orlando is there a place where I can just walk in the woods or fish in a stream without anyone to bother me?" But there isn't any place like that around here. Enjoy it.

Yesterday, walking my dog.

I'm immensely lucky to live just outside a decent sized provincial park, forest trips are amazing and more convenient than going into town.

I don't have a car. I'll be walking. down a huge hill. and then back up it eventually. I didn't think about my guitar. I should bring it.

DarkMoon21 Vancouver is an amazing city. And 4/20 is usually pretty nice there. As is the July 1st pot rally. A little elf told me. :yesnod:

I just got back from a forest on my walk. I found a pond hidden from view, it was a nice little area.

I gotta do my Johnny poppyseed thing again this weekend. This 6 to 8" of rain probably washed away my previous efforts (in NJ)...When I'm in the Catskills, I visit my river daily............sometimes all day............:salmon: :fishing:

At least once a week I take a walk in the woods or in the bog. I live near the sea so walks at seashore are happening quite often too.

I want to make it a point to go fishing this summer. I'm making more money now so I don't have an excuse not to.

I used to spend almost all my time in the woods doing , well you know.
Nowadays I have been locked into the city and computers. It's a real shame because I have never been so centered and happy as when I was just stomping and exploring new places. It was a beautiful thing. maybe soon I will revert back to that lifestyle and get rid of my city dwelling/computer enslavement and become whole again.

way past due to get out in the forest, even if that means shitty nature preserves in the suburbs
after living in a large city for 8 months or so, I now know that I will never reside in one when I settle down. Although it is nice for me at the stage I'm at in my life at the moment

Now is the best time for hikes! I love the outdoors and nature walks, but when the horse flies come out it's like scene from "Killer Bees."

Oh btw...put some yann tiersen on your ipod for walks/nature-gazing (you'll love me for this).

Comtine D'un Autre Ete- try that song.

Went to the river last week, me and a friend go to the river fairly regularly... But by "river" I mean the East River in NYC, bordered by pavement and dotted by a winding path of street lights, and strategically placed artificial rocks. For your convenience there is also a gas station nearby.
