Check it out, finaly after a long long time.. I managed to get further then the intro!
It's been so long since I actually finished a tune, maybe things will go even better now!

Check it out! I know you'll like it, psychedelic/experimental.

I think it's pretty original, a little too slow evolving for listening, but this is more ambient type music that's ment to be slow. nice for chillout when having conversations etc.
did you do the beatboxing yourself? if so, well done:thumbup:

all sounds were nicely crisp and clear too

No, the beatboxing is not mine. Not that I can't do it, I just didn't do that beatboxing.
Next version will have more variation, and more environmental filling.

nice, really interesting stuff, i love the beatboxing
yeah just slow to evolve

I want the listener to pay good attention, so the music can overwhelm you and change how you feel.

yeah but if you want to attract the listeners attention, you shoulnd't wait too long changing something (you don't have to add something perse, but you can change sounds that are already there too). Right, I forgot it wasn't finished yet. let us know when yer done:cool:

I love the mood. Maybe add a little more in the harmony department, or release the static "key". I agree with stefan, maybe less in between your new sound introductions/releases.

The beatbox rhythm is simply rad, but unfortunately i hear 'pops' since he didn't use a pop-filter. :frown: it's still very fitting and groovy.

what makes intriguing music so attention-keeping? Amon Tobin, Boards of Canada, Infected Mushroom, Shpongle, Telefon Tel Aviv, etc. They each have their forté's in keeping the listener intrigued, but it's purposeful. Shpongle and TTA tickle your ears with new sounds and immersing soundscapes. Boards of Canada keep you attentive with it's enveloping mood and subtle sub-surface details. It might help to think why you want the listener's close attention, and what you want them listening to at any one point.

I like your flanged pad in the beginning and end; maybe tie in the wandering bell sound to the rest of the piece somehow?

hope these help you get some ideas flowing!
needless-to-say, these are just some constructive notes, listen to them if you like

oh! one more thing: your two sets of percussive sounds in the first half are DOPE. but they kind of step on eachother's toes, spatially. try hard-stereo the tabla sounds but center pan the distorted HH & bass drum, see what you think. I bet it'll fill out the lateral field better.
