I have short hair that I wear in a fauxhawk.
people call me sir all the time. which, i laugh off. to be honest i don't like to be called ma'am or sir. I like it when people are pretty use sexless salutations, like 'what;s up' or 'how's it goin?'
anyway, i just think it's hilarious.

I believe this was just to anger me, you know how kids are.
But I decked the guy.

As for the original post, a gay friend of mine was once checking out this other person calling him a cute guy...

When I had long hair. I would be driving down the road and my hair would be out the window. So sometimes I would look over to see some dudes disappointed face when he realized that I was a dude. Kinda momentarily awkward.
Most people on the road seem to be so off in other worlds. They don't even take notice of whats and who is going on around them. I guess I'm more of an observer. I like to see whats going on.

i had pretty long hair last year, around shoulder length. while walking down the street once, some guys driving by started checking me out until they realized i was a guy. at which point they made sure to shout "get a hair-cut, faggot!" because i was the one checking out a guy, right?

Yeah well logistically speaking guys with long hair look like "women" that culture sometimes widely accepts.
However in some cultures it's accepted for men and encouraged for them to never cut their hair.
However, strategically speaking, long hair is not always a good thing for the ninja, one who wishes to move in silence must know every part of the body.
