methinks 'dreaming' becomes detrimental when it's borderline delusion

I've always been told that it's good to dream, but sometimes I wonder if that's really the case cause it seems to me that they become damaging if they're too far outta reach
like - instead of giving you something to strive for, they become more of a constant connotation of things that will never be a sort of menacing intimation of the infeasible, if you will
which is sad really especially when you take into consideration that we're taught from an early age to always shoot for the stars
it's like setting us up for dissapointment

you find what is best not from what others tell you. there is a quiet personal place within find it. dreams recycle what the mind receives. how to steer the dreamer awake?

Only if you do not act.
-------------------- "A warrior is a hunter. He calculates everything. That's control. Once his calculations are over, he acts. He lets go. That's abandon. A warrior is not a leaf at the mercy of the wind. No one can push him; no one can make him do things against himself or against his better judgment. A warrior is tuned to survive, and he survives in the best of all possible fashions." ― Carlos Castaneda

I'm slow on the draw, but Hue is correct.
If you really want something, you can make it happen. It is just a matter of making it happen. This is where personal power becomes a big issue. Most are crushed by the thought of a goal, not really the goal itself. The problem lies in the dreamer. You dare to dream, and yet ou do not dare to act on such a dream.
There have been many who have had dreams realized in this world, both commonplace and extraordinary. Hitler, for example, was a man with a dream, and it took quite a bit of effort from many to stop a single man's dream, because he could see his dream as attainable, and every moment he was alive he took steps to make that dream a reality.
In no way was he a 'good' man. But he was most certainly a powerful warrior, who has my respect for it.
-------------------- [quote]We don't need anyone to teach us sorcery, because there is really nothing to learn. What we need is a teacher to convince us that there is incalculable power at our fingertips. What a strange paradox! Every warrior on the path of knowledge thinks, at one time or another, that he's learning sorcery, but all he's doing is allowing himself to be convinced of the power hidden in his being, and that he can reach it.
