Wow, I was pretty blown away today when I went into HD to get supplies to build my Glove box... I got there, found a perfect size clear rubber maid w/clear top. Then proceeded to the dryer duct isle where I was unable to find vinyl dryer duct. I grabbed an employee and to my surprise they did not carry the vinyl, only the aluminum:( Anyway, the employee say the clear rubber maid, and asks... "Wait a minute... Are you making a glovebox?" I looked at him in total amazement that he actually knew what I was building!
The next thing I know we have a good 30 minute convo about growing. He had been growing on and off for about 10 years now!!! So anyway, I got the dudes number and I'm going to call him up some weekend. Crazy huh?
So anyway, now I'm wondering if this dude is a shroomery member? WHo here works at HD!! lol!

Wow, I totally would not get in a heart to heart with a random Home Depot employee about growing ANYTHING illegal.
But if you think he was cool... I hope he is.

Definitely not information I would divulge to any retail employee, regardless of how cool they looked. That's just my personal paranoia, though. Hope it works out for you. You could probably learn a few things from him if you're just starting out.

I had the same thing happen to me last night, except I was getting supplies to build a hookah out of a ceramic mushroom I found.
The lady pretty much figured out what I was doing, and just told me to go buy a tiny straight shooter... how lame.
But yea, dontcha just love when that happens?

Every day we are engaged in a miracle which we don't even recognize: a blue sky, white clouds, green leaves, the black, curious eyes of a child -- our own two eyes. All is a miracle.” -Thich Nhat Hanh

I find many employees and customers at home supply stores grow something or other. Just profile the right type guy.
If i didn't work a good job like UPS, my next bet would be a home supply store so i can at least get a discount on my shit <g>.

What objects are you proposing to yourself? Are they the objects you really value? If they are not, you are cheating yourself. I don't meant that if you chose to pursue the objects you most value, you will attain them; of course not. Your experience will tell you that. But success in getting after much labor what you really don't care for is the bitterest and most ridiculous failure." -George Santayana
