well technically im makin it later today but anyways i was plannin on usin a torch to put holes in the box. i figured id be able to make em perfect that way since i dont have access to drill (cant find it) im usin 3in pvc and some gloves from lowes. will melting them onto the pvc be ok (not using torch...to messy) or will using duct tape be ok?

I might try using a pvc fitting bracket w/tape and some elbow grease with the screws. you will need some nuts and washers though. However it sounds like you got it.

If you are using a flame or soldering iron on plastic make sure you do it in a well-ventilated area.

You don't need attached gloves. Just cut the holes so your arms are snug and wear latex gloves. This allows you to pull your arm out so you can keep the alcohol torch for flame sterilizing outside the glovebox. Once you re-insert your arm, the air inside will settle down and be still.
In addition, PVC fittings make it really hard to reach around the box. They pretty well restrict you to working straight ahead.

What is the box itself made of?
If it's a Rubbermaid-esque tub/box, I'd really recommend using a hair drier to soften it up, or even let some really hot water (from a tap or even a hot kettle) sit on it, then use some curved tin-snips. They'll go right through it, clean and with no mess.

i think im still gonna attach the gloves ill probly get clamps from an auto parts store. im gonna stay stubborn with this and try it the way i want. if i dont like the gloves ill take em off and use tyvek envelopes and latex gloves

ill cut the epoxy and take the pvc out if it becomes a comfort/mobility problem but its only a 58qt tub so its kinda small so ill just have to wait and see. ill probly put the gloves on tomorrow or maybe later today. depends on how soon the epoxy becomes hardened.

I have those fittings on my glovebox as well and they are restrictive... I will modify them in the near future. I also dont use the gloves in my box, but I did find some sheet latex that I put over the holes. I cut small holes in the latex so it fits tight around my arms while I work. It's rather crude at the moment, but it works well.
Also to cut the holes I found an empty can that was the same diameter as the pvc fitting. I took the top and bottom off with a can opener and heated it on the stove. Then I used some vice grips to grab it. It cuts through plastic like butter. Make sure to have a box fan of something for exhaust.

its a still air box for now. the torch alone was just makin a bunch of toxic smoke so i grabed a knife and used it to make the holes then used the torch to smooth the holes. i saw a tek here on shroomery with some tyvek sleeves but i cant find it now. im gonna try that if i dont like the gloves but i like the latex idea i may go with that (where did u find the sheet latex?). so basically i dont know what the hell im gonna do yet

I've also seen/used one with little squares of a trash bag covering the holes, so that when your hands aren't in it, it is someone closed off. Just slowly raise the squares up and insert your hands and your good to go.

You can actually get it through Amazon surprisingly. It comes froma company called small parts, but dont order directly from them cause shipping more than doubles for some reason.

It comes in various sizes and thicknesses. I used the .050" thickness and it is rediculously heavy duty. You can probably go with the .025" thickness instead.
