damn! check this out
my friend dumped a couple of cakes like a month in his garden in a hole he dug and covered it
now look what happenned !!

how does this look? and what is the meaning of this ?
will fruit bodys develop? will the patch stay forever?
will it be edible?

If they fruit they are 100% edible if the species in the cake was :smile:

It might produce fruits and if you allow them to drop spores it MAY stay but doubtful unless its with lots of manure, even then very slim about staying around..

I do see some mean green growing there.. which could mean very puny to no fruits... as the myc is fighting a losing battle :frown: Tricoderma kills the hell out of mushroom myc, it even eats it (at least some types do)

well... my friend actually just DUMPED them in there he never thought something would develop out of this... plus, the cakes were contamd.
BUT as you can clearly see theres nice white mycelium that looks healthy. there are these green spots but i dont think they will be the victor and i truly beleive that in this case from what i see mycelium is winning... btw this is australian cubensis
