Wet casing

I spawned 2 qts of wbs too a coir based bulk substrate. I guess the coir was a little too wet or something as alot of moisture has evaporated and then condensed on the top and rained down upon my substrate. Is this going to cause overlay or should i wait till its done colonizing and use my casing layer to absorb the extra water? There are little pools of water forming on the tops of both casings.

It wouldn't cause overlay, it'd cause something called matting
well what you could do is get a sponge and soak+wipe the excess off the roof and get some paper towel and soak up the excess off the myc before it causes any matting or contams :thumbup:

The most likely cause of this condensation is from heating the tub. Condensation is not caused by humidity. It's caused by a temperature differential between inside the box and outside. Don't use heat.
