Environment Difference

I was just wondering would a basements moist damp environment be harboring more contaminants in the air, that may be exposed to fanned cakes as opposed to an "upstairs" environment? Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I'm wondering if anyone knows from experience. Thanks.

I honestly wouldnt worry about it....if you've got a fully colonized cake they are pretty resiliant to contamanation....yes I would think your basement would probably have more mold spores and such down there but fully colonized cakes dont normally have a problem until they are a few flushes in...just be really clean and maybe even lysol the air before you go fanning
