bad spores?

somethings wrong them. they wont germinate the method used: (4 1-quart jars) 1.soaked WBS overnight 2.simmered for half an hour 3.drained 4.loaded into prego 1 quart jars 5. put nail hole in center jar lid 6. covered with foil 7. PC for an hour and a half 8. let cool for an hour 9. heated needle, wiped with alcohol, injected 1cc 10. covered hole with micropore tape 11. incubated in TiT at 75-80 degrees.
2 weeks later no results. a jar that was only boiled shows some signs of myc at this point but it was 3 weeks old. it had also been injected a second time. and recently its bright white fuzzy myc looks dingy and slimy.
why wont they germinate? the only visible thing i noticed was the jars look a little too wet. could that alone cause them ot not germinate. or are the Sporebanks spores no good? (treasure coast) strain
also, the boiled jar's grains werent simmered, only soaked. so they were looser but smaller. but at least they had some results compared the the 4 1-quarts
after dumping out one of the one quarters to see if there were any signs of myc, none were found
one of the jars was burped daily to see if the increase of air would help
after 3 attemps only failure. due to frustration, a liquid culture has been started. hopeing that helps.

number "11" in his list of what he did says clearly incubated 75-80 degrees. so, now knowing that, what do you have to add???????????????????????????????

Was the WBS completely dry on the outside before you loaded the jars?
Simmering for 30 minutes is too long, I bet most of your grains have popped open, this releases starches that hinder the mycelliums growth.
You put holes in the lids and covered them with foil, but you were supposed to put the tape on before the foil,or better yet use polyfill(synthetic pillow stuffing)
You wiped the flame sterilized needle with alcohol that is not sterile. Never wipe the needle with anything after you flame sterilize.
Your temps are fine...
What do u mean by "one of the jars was burped daily"? Did u shake it daily or something? Or open the lid? Grain jars do not get shook after inoculation, they get shaken once at 20-30% and once when spawning.
LCs from spores are sketchy as hell, spores are never 100% clean.
Also, spores can take up to 3 weeks to germinate in some cases.
They should also be receiving ambient/indirect light while colonizing.

in your sets 7,8 and 9, it seems like you did that very fast you PC and let it cool for one hour and then you Inoculate? if your jars were still hot then , you killed your spores. you have to wait a day for your jars to cool and just let them do this in the PC and then the next day after it is cooled for 24 hours and Inoculate them. Being that you are new to bulk and grain , you could have messed up the moisture content of your grain . but if your jars were warm or hot then that was your problem. and your boiled gran jars that have weird growth are contamed most likely, but pictures would help to Identify the contam or not.
