Mushroom Tea with cold water?

so im always paranoid about putting my shrooms in hot water.
i really want to make some tea to get around some the stomach problem that sometimes ruin the entire trip for me...especially at high doses.
so i was thinking i could just put them in cold water in an old Gatorade bottle and leave it in the fridge for about a week..shaking it whenever i go to the fridge.
any reason why this wouldn't work?

You can grind them up in a coffee grinder and put them in most any liquid. I have done it with cranberry juice mostly, but once had no cranbury juice, so I just put the powder in cold water. I got the same effect. Some folks seem to get more of a buzz with CJ, but that does not seem to be the case with me...

If you're worried about nausea just grind dried shrooms into a fine powder, whisk up in some orange juice and down in one.
Much easier than farting about with "tea".
A cup of lemon & ginger tea about half an hour beforehand will help keep your stomach settled.

Yeah, the ginger really rocks!
I used to take dramamine, but it really interacted with the trip.
After some experience, I figured out the naseua was mostly in my head. The ginger really calms things down for me...

do an alcohol extraction and then just evap it down to a shot or less. That way your not worrying about heat, and you can get it down to a very manageable amount no matter how high the dose. Plus, if you leave it in alcohol it will stay good for a long time.
Stomach problems may still occurr. Many people forget that alot of the physical problems you face during a trip are just manifestations of mind because of the trip. I'm not saying there isnt a certain amount of nausia just from the drug itself, but the trip, the anxiety, the mindfuck, can make you equally as sick and no matter how you prepare it, it is just something you sometimes have to face.
BTW, you really are fine with hot water as long as you arent boiling the shit out of it.

If it doesnt get hotter than about 70° Celsius, there is no problem. Have a spoon in there and keep it moving. Ive done it many times, the tea with sugar and lemon, and they are very active trips. In fact much more active than dry, tastier and also easier and faster coming down after the peak. Most boil it and ruin everything and then complain the tea method doesnt work, while its their ignorance that was the problem.
Ive never done it with cold water, I believe the warmth does certain things, including the lemon juice which makes it more potent, but I have no proof.

Let them sit in honey for a while, then just eat them like candy.
