Frozen Shrums in Texas

Crazy weather has been passin through Texas these past few days and the ice and sleet cancelled classes at my university for 2 days. I used the time to explore the frozen wonderland and, came across something i never thought i would find here in SE Texas.
Not sure what they are but they had white gills. Anyone feel free to take a shot, but its not important i just thought they were cool. There are some more pics but my camera is being bunk. Maybe ill put them up later.

I've seen mushrooms preserved for an entire winter. I think it was due to an intense period of heat, direct sun, drying the hell out of them, but with the shape still fully intact, then a full winter of being frozen in suspended animation.
Found frozen cyans too. They were like glass, clanging around in my pocket. Friends didn't want the frozen ones... they're too good for that. More for me.

it dosen't take heat to dry them. i've seen mushrooms dessicated by near freezing wind. what counts is it's movement and humidity. cold air has a lower capacity for carrying water.
-------------------- Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it. If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

Cool photos, not sure what they are at just a glance of the cap. More info if possible would help get them identified, but being frozen - I wouldn't count on it being easy to ID.
