Do you have to take out your nose bone for that?
(otherwise upper cut on nose can shove the nose bone right into the brain and kill)

I'd imagne one could hit someone in the eye without removing their nose bone first.

I find boxing lacks the depth of martial arts competition.
Ever think about martial arts?

Boxing is a lot harder to compete in than Mixed Martial arts. Mixed martial arts is way easier to come up in.
I know this will start an argument, but I feel boxers are better athletes for many reasons. Not saying the Martial Arts guys aren't bad asses, but you take a seasoned boxer and give him a few ground skills, I put my money on the boxer every time. Thats why Liddell is so good. He has mad boxing skills. Pin point accuracy with his hands. He lands on the chin or temple all the time. Just like a boxer. He hardly does anything Martial arts. Kick boxers are the hardcore mother fuckers.
I use to box man, I loved it. I love the sweet science!!
what weight class are you? Will you be fighting Floyd Mayweather Jr. in the next couple months? Thats where the money is at. After he beats De La Hoya on May 5th, you could jump in there make mad cash.

Boxing is just a sport man... Martial art is a way of life...
I guess I was implying martial arts was about competition... but that wasn't my intention, I was just hoping I could spark his interest with a similarity.

PS: please don't pretend UFC is about martial art... lol
(I'm half joking here... but only half... martial arts should not exist with the utter lack of respect you see in this organization)

Your post has inspired me. I'm going to be an NFL quarterback now.

hahaha no. Im probably going to be around 200-215 lbs when all is said and done. I need to get in better shape cause I am like 230 now.
Im in good shape for a regular guy, but not a boxer. I have no intentions of making a career of this, just something to do and if I turn out to be as good as I think I will be, then make some money off it.
