I was thinking of doing 1-2 grams so I could meditate. Anyone have any successes? Is it possible to get a good trip out of that?

Yes. Me and some friends ate 1 gram the other day and had a fantastic trip! Even off of 1 gram, we had some really interesting visuals too.

Yeah dude, if anything I prefer low doses, you can just sit back and chill, maybe have some deep convorsations with a close friend or think about anything and everything, and I've noticed you still see OEV's if you're in a darkened room, probably because its like having your eyes closed, but its pretty sweet.

2 grams or so is a nice mellow, very manageable trip, but I prefer at least 3.5 grams if not 4 or 5

I prefer low dosages too. 2 grams of cubbies is almost more then i like to consume. I prefer P.Cyanescens much more. My normal dose is .7 grams up to maybe 1.5
I have had some great trips off just half a gram of cyanescens. Of course with these amounts you sacrifice most visuals if not all. However, i like more mellow manageable, less intense high most of the time. I cant always be in the right state of mind for a good crazy visual trip.

i had 1.9 left over a while back, and took it one night just expecting to chill and relax and think to myself, but i almost had a full out trip, it was nuts!!!

hmmmmmm.
I have eaten 12 grams before and 2 grams still provides me with a full blown trip. Intense visuals.
I thought this thread was about people taking .3-.6 grams or some shit. I trip on that dose.
Many intense experiences involing .5 grams and some weed.
To ask if I ever saw visuals on such a dose would not be suprizing to me. Yes though, .5 grams prvides me with CEVs and OEVs.
When I hear "low dose" and "2 grams" in the same sentance, I realy do "LOL"...........
Last time I took one gram in the forest it was pure visuals and an amazing psychedelic cognition, (no weed).

Lucky...
Anything under 3g is a low dose to me.
Ive had a hard time tripping of 3+ grams lately even 
I even take months off between each trip_
I really appreciate the body high from lower dose trips but get no
visuals whatsoever

Thats pretty nutty sounding to a guy like me.
I get visuals off of .1 grams.
They are cute little harmless visual anomalies. In a dimly lit room they are beautiful........
its strange how that must work.
Maybe its because I have tripped over 170 times on my favorite substances for many years.
Its interesting to note that, when I was a kid, 3.5 grams was perfect but totally ineffective as a serious tool. When any dose became a serious tool is when I could work with them more closely. See more visuals even.

My girlfriends cieling is like wooden strips, with white paint over them, and the white paint connects the panels together every once and a while. When I was on 2 grams of mushrooms the paint was just flowing like rivers across all the boards.

I've found that with mushrooms, the more you have done - the less you seem to need. I've had some surprisingly wonderful trips on doses under 2g.
True, you dont get 'as out there' as you do when taking a higher dose trip, but there is very much something to be gained from lower dose trips. It alters your mind enough to allow for some new / interesting thoughts to happen without it running out of control. If anything, I think its easier to 'gain something' from a lower dose trip at times.
I like the subtle nature of visuals on a low dose also, there is a certain something to them.
But, I've found that the more I've used mushrooms, the more able I am to push my mind that bit further on my own without needing a higher dose to force me there.

I had the trip of a lifetime some days ago from a little above 1,5g so: YEAH you can get effects from that! I really like low doses they're a lot less hectic...

Taking a lose dose and coupling it with meditation can allow for some very nice spiritual breakthroughs. I find low doses to be more conducive to this type of work than higher trips. It can help block out distracting thoughts and is highly useful for initiating OBE's and astral projections.

i love low doses. anything from 1.5 to .5 grams will make great conversations with friends, and the best laughs you've ever had. for me anyway. its like if you wanna leave this realm for awhile then take a larger dose, but if you wanna stay in this realm and see all your normal daily stuff at a different angle then low doses can be amazing.

It is from person to person.
My best friend and his wife ate 1g each of Pcyanescens. Thats usually a good trip for me everytime undoubtably. She felt great and he felt almost nothing. Yet he has done mushrooms maybe a handfull of times, plus never smoked pot, or done anything else but drink (ohh and extacy a handfull too) I dont know if that matters or not.

My last trip was off a small dose, it was really nice actualy. Much, much better then I thought.

Thats what I'm thinkin too NO ONE has ever even had the balls to go over 3-4 of mine,geez 1.5-2 is normal not small.
And as far as low doses,I ate 1g of aborts last night to get the mind stable for a nice 3 grammer on new year,musta dug up ye ol acid days I got a very intense ride had hella cevs and even some oevs,coupled with mood swings even,which I normally don't get till the 2g mark.
