I do believe ive read that there are some that will not do bad in temps like that, probably not any that prefer those temps though. not sure which ones either, anybody else know?

well on ralphsters and sporeworks im pretty sure that they have noted the mexican strain of cubensis fruits well in temps as low as 50F

Psilocybe Semilanceata (liberty caps) like cold weather "but" i only heard about 2 people who hade succes trying to grow them

i heard a couple of guys say something about a colorado strain..... makes sense its cold as a well diggers ass up there

yeah the liberty caps seem to be the hardest to grow, why is this? but they grow well near where i live, and are autumns can get quite chilly.

In my research I found a spore supplier in Canada (non-sponser) who has a strain called "Oh Canada" that is supposed to be good for low temps.

iv seen pics of mushrooms that grow in a refridge...not like using a fridge for a fc...but an acctual working fridge...

You can search for an isolate that will do better than others, but 'for sale' strains are marketing driven, and there is little to no difference between them. Please keep strain discussions in the strain thread stickied at the top of the page. Thanks
