Is this white stuff contamination or mycelium?

Hi folks. I'm brand new to this. I grew some PF cakes with PC penis envy. I then spent quite a bit fo time researching, and decided that rather than just birthing my cakes into the chamber, I would put them in a small tray with some 50/50. Things seem to be going well. They cakes have been in the casing for about a week now. A day or so ago, I noticed this white cotton like stuff growing. Tonight, I looked again and there is much more of it. Can someone take a quick look and let me know if this is normal mycelium growth, or if I may have a contamination issue? Thanks!!!

The brighter white closer to the center looks like myc poking through. Cob is never that white. If you're unsure about the gray, hit it with hydrogen peroxide straight from the bottle. Cob will melt away.

Also, look closly. Does it look like it's growing and coming up from underneath the casing or does it look like it's floating on top like a rolling fog?

Ehhhh..... I've seen cob web mold look like that. It's a hard call. Not sure, though my inclination is mold.
