Can someone help me with 3DS Max?

I need a .max file of a rendered desk chair or something of that nature. Hell even something like a video game controller would be cool.  I'm practicing using the materials editor and I forgot my work at school (they don't even give us a network folder it's on the desktop of the computer I was logged in at).  I need something that's already rendered because that'll take all night if start from scratch but I need to keep moving forward on this.  :confused:  If not can you point me to some free .max objects?

I did a google on "free 3ds models" and a bunch of links came up. Try a few different search phrases, I'm sure you'll stumble upon something good. Hope it helps.

I should have mentioned I tried that.  I'll keep looking but you actually have to buy most of the better ones.  :thumbdown:  Booooo :lol:

i'm afraid i don't really know much about 3dsmax, only softimage..maybe i can help you...can you use .obj ?

Eh..I just found a beer can and slapped a Yuengling label on it :-) Pretty cool how it just wraps itself around the object like that.

You won't find many .MAX... look for .3DS or .OBJ
