Is this Lc measurement correct?

I used 1 tblspoon with 2 cups water. do I need to start over before I use my spores? I used two karo and to honey jars.

6 ml of karo in every 200 ml of water or

1 tablespoon of honey in 250 ml of water

I often do karo and honey side by side as well,Its interesting to see how honey destroys karo time and again every single time

yea, my first lc was honey boiled. and it did way better than karo pced and didnt get contams, which was amazing, especially considering i opened the top to get a needle down in the jar(i didnt think about that when i made the jar, but i only have used spore syringes at 1.5 inches). it has gone on the make other lcs.thats off topic, sorry. im just amazed and proud.
...but yea, i think ur right with ur measurements. 1 teaspoon for alittle more than a half pint to 3/4 pint is what i use, i know thats less than recomended, but it works for me.

With media in an LC slightly less is always better than having too much

No putting to much will halt growth and may stall it completely,less is better if you use much too much karo,honey,etc it will fail

Yes. At least I do. 20 minutes or so. No longer. Some people just boil, and some don't sterilize at all. It's up to you i guess. I say better safe than sorry though.

Mix it before you PC,otherwise you are doing no good by pressure cooking because you will be exposing it to air,Mix it than PC and than inoculate it once its cool,cover you inoculation hope with micopore tape that you have soaked in alcohol
