Really small mushrooms! WHY?!?!

Alright it's been a while, like 2 and 1/2 weeks in the FC. Finally two of my cakes are starting to do something. I'm I have a total of 3 mushrooms growing on one cake and one little guy growing on the bottom of a cake that I didn't dunk and roll. They've been visibly growing for about 3 days now, but they aren't doing much at all. The mushroom one the undunked cake looks like it already has a cap, but the other 3 don't seem to have a colored tip yet, like the darker color of the cap I mean. My question is: What the hell is going on with these? I thought mushrooms grew really fast? The parameters should be correct, the cake with the three mushrooms is in a moistened perlite FC so I'm assuming the rH is right on, and I know the temp is good. I've also been fanning that shit like 6-7 times a day, with about an 8 hour gap when I'm sleeping.... the other is in a PMP and the parameters on that one should be right as well. Except I don't fan it cause I have a 100 gallon pump going 24/7. When is the pace gonna pick up?
Oh yeah, they're like the size of a pinky fingernail

try fanning 1-2 two times instead...and turn that pump off, you're gonna dry things out that way.

so turn the pump in the pmp off and fan it? or fan the prelite fc only 1 or 2 times a day?

i've gotten by with just drilling a few holes in the FC and stuffing with polyfil (no fanning)
5-6 times a day is pretty unnessisary IMO.
The pump being on ALL THE TIME will dry your cakes out, i'd just turn it off and fan both FC's twice a day

The pins/primordia you're seeing are normal... at least my freind's are doing the same thing. They started off all white, but after 4 or 5 days the tips of them started turning that reddish-brown color you usually see on pins. He noticed his first lil pins about a week and a half after birthing, and its been almost a week since then, and they are not all that much bigger in size. They are definitely bigger, and growing, just not very fast. On a previous post, after showing some pics of his pins, a few more experienced guys chimed in and said everything looked okay, and and that he probably had another 2 weeks total before they were full grown. I'm sure some strains fruit quicker, etc. but for the most part, i think it seems like you're on track.

over dryness seems to make the shrooms grow slower. that could be involved. and i agree fan a bit less. wont dry them out as much and will keep your humidity up.
