Do these prints look like they came from weilii's?

assuming that that print is purple brown like it looks in the pics, the only thing we can tell you is that it probably came from a Strophariacae.

a spore print is a step in identification but identification can not be made from a spore print alone.

One was in pine straw and another in bermuda in north ga (roswell)

They look black to me... I dont really see any purple. :shrug:

A pic of the mushroom would be a step in the right direction! :grin:
Based just on the print (from my colour interpretation) I'd say some sort of Panaeolus, what did the mushroom look like?

doesnt look like weilii to me, looks like psathyrella or some sort,


Weilii's usually dark purple to lightish purple depending on the size of the deposit.

Well the gills are brown with no bluing, and the ones I'm sure about have lighter colored gills with bluing on them. Definitely not enough for a trip though.

Probably Psathyrella velutina on those black prints. Didn't you post a find of those recently or was it someone else?
