Find from pnw Washinton I would like to make sure these are amanita muscarias.
they all have the rings, and the torn off veils on stems.

in my opinion...
the muscaria I find have way more scaly vulva...
those look like nasty specimens anyways...

i agree with jim, my specimens normally have a way more scaly vulva

i wouldnt eat them... no concentric rings of scales at the base so... even if they are a. muscaria they do look rank!

to be honest i think they are look closesly but really i think i would have to see em in person. then i could decide to eat or not. but i only use good looking ones lol i found this and didnt eat it cause it could of bit me or something that one was one with out a doubt tho the picture kinda makes it hard lol looking at these pictures is making me taste it i eat some last week and its still going alittle bit for me

Those look too old. Even if they were muscarias, they are not in good enough condition to consume.
The "ring" remnants that are usually at the base of the stem fall off and wear away with age, making them harder to ID.
They might have been A. muscaria at one point, but at this point they are probably too old to take any chances. I'd say find some fresher ones. They are common enough to not bother eating when in questionable ID condition..

judging by all of the pictures of alleged muscaria people post I think that those have good chance to be them. The vulva rings have just came off due to age or weather. It looks as though there were larger rings there before. Could never be 100% sure though so don't eat those.

those are them 4 sure. wash em up real good then dry them and get the worms out, then powder and boil. whatever works works

it is a bad idea to eat - and particularly to advise others to eat - mushrooms which are past thier prime. the last thing one might want is to be suffering from foodbourne disease while under the influence of psychoactive mushrooms.

They aren't really past their, prime, But the slugs did get them.
