put them in a box with a fan blowing on them for about 3 days, then put them in a desiccant chamber. You can use a regular monotub and pour damprid or any type of desicant on the bottom and cover that with something to keep the things from touching it.... seal that up for a day or two and they're cracker dry.

i have a rubber maid tub with a 3 speed fan monted in the side along with the speed control. i have a screen rack across the middle of the tub. also i have a door on hinges on the bottom (under the screen)so i can open the door and put some damp rid under the mushies for aprox 7 hours after i have fan dryed them for 17 hours on high. the door also works for cleaning some verm that has fallen throung the screen.
mushies are crisp in 24 hours

i put mine in a paper bag with small holes at the end of it (so air can flow through) for 2 days. then i put them in a sealed jar with desiccant.

IF you have dry weather you can lay them outside on some mesh or watever and let the wind dry them. works great for a large harvest. you'd probably have to use desiccant after that to get them cracker dry.

My way is much like the fan method. I use it for just a small ammount of shrooms. I cut a hole in the bottom of a container, hotglued a fishtank filter in there, put a screen on the inside and a coffeefilter on top. I then set it on the air purifier exaust, and put a 100g weight on it. Gets the job done. I would then put it in a container with dessecaints after a few days. _steve_

If you're fan drying I've found a fan drawing air above the mushies dries them much faster than one pushing air from below.

get yourself a piece of window screening and any fan. Worked ok for me before I got a food dehydrator I would recomend splitting the larger mushies lengthwise to speed drying.
