if a colonized cake is put in the fc, will it stll fruit if it has NOT BEEN BIRTHED FROM THE JAR???

Yes, it will fruit. The problem with fruiting in a jar is harvesting pins that mature on the side, but you will get fruits.

Above post is correct, but why would you try fruiting still in the jar? Did you use non-tapered jars, or are you worried about contams?

Your yield will be much better if you remove them, and better still if you case. Please elaborate, and best of luck!

I have a jar right now that started pinning before I had a chance to spawn it.I decided to just see what it would do and there are nearly full grown mushrooms in it now.I took the lid off and it looked dry so I fulled the jar with water and let it soak in.Than I turned it upside down and left it alone and some are so bug they are popping out of the jar
