Hi Everyone,

Ask anyone who uses filters on their spawn runs and they'll tell you that they increase colonization time as well as provide a clean, fresh gas exchange within your jars.
Here's some info we received from a customer on how to make really nice plastic lids using our filter discs.

why do you have packs of 10 when jars come in packs of 12?

Good question! 
I suppose that many folks use them for more than just jars. Grow chambers, other sized lids and custom cuttings. Also, not all jars come in cases of 12.
Filter discs are designed to fit canning jar mouths, but they are not limited to only one use.

well your deal is for packs of 10 and packs of 100
i have 12 QT jars, as thats how many come in a package
could you throw me 2 more filters so i dont have to buy another 90?

I am sorry but the amount of filter discs per pack are predetermined and can not be changed.

Hahaha, you're right! Using filters DECREASES colonization times
As for Microns filters, you're comparing apples and oranges. They are two completely different types of filter.
