"The use of uranium munitions during warfare is a crime against God, is a crime against humanity, and should be considered a war crime." Professor Major Doug Rokke, former chief of "The Depleted Uranium Project" at the Pentagon and a victim of the harmful effects of depleted uranium.

Hey Ethno have you read my thread on "Gourmet and Medicinal" "Maitake, useful in the treatment of radiation exposure?"? You should! It contains alot of info on the use of depleted uranium ordnance (oooh Kosova, Afghanistan, Iraq...."we" don't use it anymore -quietly shelved following Italian pressure- but our troops still fight next to U.S troops!).

Fascism as an ideology died with Hitler and Musolini. Fascism is a very specific ideology, and referring to any form of militarism or authoritarianism as fascism is ignorant bullshit.

As a political ideology, yes. But there is a surviving strand of "academic Marxism" which I encountered in college.

"Fascism should more properly be called corporatism, since it is the merger of state and corporate power." - Benito Mussolini
Yeah... fascism sure is dead.
I'm afraid you don't understand the meaning of "corporation" in the context. Basically, fascism, or "corporatism," is a syndicalist ideology. It involves indirect representation by different "corporations"(basically special interest groups). The workers could have a "corporation" of their own under this system. Don't confuse this with the plutocracy we have now.

No its not. Fascism is a radical political ideology that combines elements of corporatism, authoritarianism, nationalism, militarism, anti-anarchism, anti-communism and anti-liberalism.

In China today companies aren't bothered by such nuisances as a 40-hour work week, a minimum living wage, health care, workers' pensions, and overall workplace safety.
We only have the United States government and its trade policies to blame for that one.
Peace.

Actually, the blame should be placed on the Chinese gov't for their lack of labor laws, if one actually wants to point fingers.

It's funny, I'd point the blame at US voters for repeatedly being pro-union and supporting laws that hurt US job-seekers, but no one's ever going to agree on this.
