Vermiculite for humidification.....

Ran out of perlite and i was thinking of using vermiculite instead of perlite for humidification in the fruiting chamber..would this work?

no i am broke and only have vermiculite left, i only plan on putting one casing in there..would that be ok?

try no vermiculite and misting for humidity, the verm will be pretty damned messy
and for casings it doesnt need to be as high as for cakes
