Cold Babies

Well I innoculated my first jars with some B+. They have been sitting in a nice little warm environment for a few days but then I had to transport them to a place 100 miles away. They got a little cold for a few hours (round 55 degrees farenheight). They are warming up again and will be in a nice warm environment again tomorrow. What temp do I need to keep them at? Are my jars fucked cuz they got cold? Thanks.

I think they should be OK. Just keep them in an incubator @ like 86* F. Good luck! :smile:

As long as they didn't freeze everything should be fine.  You will probably loose a few days (it will take a few extra days to recover from the cold), but I doubt much else will happen.  My friend keeps everything at 83F.  Optimal growth for cubensis is 86F (Stamets, TMC) and thermal death is 106F.  The jars will be a bit warmer on the inside than the ambient air temperature around them.  Happy b-day. :smile:
