SO Im just curious, is there anything that will reduce a trip or end it? I was debating this with a friend last night and my argument is that when its first eaten there is no turning back but my friend thought perhaps a strong CNS stimulant will override it or benzos will reduce the trip to a minimum.

I beleve that Benzos will end or reduce a mush trip, but im not positive, never reallly presued it. I think there is one that will kill a cid trip but its name fails me. Someone here knows. They will chime in soon.

The traditional ER treatment, according to my dad (who works there), is Valium. Can end the trip very suddently, or at least reduce it significantly. I read somewhere that Niacin ends a trip too, but not sure about the truth of this (it might've been Huxley theorizing about the method of action for Mescaline).

From what they taught us in abnormal psychology, pretty much any antipsychotic can be used, which includes the benzodiazapines. I've only ever heard of lithium being used to kill anxiety attacks.

A friend of mine always has a benzo or two on hand just in case the need to abandon ship arises.

I've been told coke will bring you down from a mush trip but I just don't see that being a good idea.......
Resisting something is never good. Use the force instead of resisting it... A person wants a trip to stop because they feel uncomfortable... this uncomfortable feeling is rooted in resistence..seek to understand it... bend don't break

I had a bad trip a few years ago and the hospital gave me Zyprexa, they said its will end the trip. It just knocked me out for a long time, slept for like 10 hrs or somethin

Thorazine
Benzo's have never ended a trip for me, just made took away the anxiety...still leaving the trip, visuals seem to increase. But hey, im odd.
A tranq of some sort would probably do the job too.

T.V. is always a buzz killer for me.For some reason it seems so meaningless and primitive when on mind altering drugs and it actually ruins and takes away the drugs effects for me.For example I ate about 4 grams of my homegrown Cambo's alone in my room at night to some native music and I had a deep spiritual trip with vivid visuals and bursts of fractals and colour sprials.Just recently I ate around 4 grams or more of the same mush at my cousins house in a more "material" environment watching t.v. and I hardly felt any effects at all , though he had reported being totally blasted away into hallucinations so this is probably not true for all.

the only thing that seemed to slightly lessen a trip are benzos, but i would not rely on them to completly abort a trip. but thats my 2 cents

the best way to end a bad trip is to "let go". i wish i had known this when i had my bad trip, but instead i tried to fight the uncomfortable feeling and it only became worse. basically if you are feeling "off" during a trip just look around you and try to appreciate all that you have, change the tunes to something you enjoy, or talk to a friend.
